and took a $100 million tax write-off. My guess is that the property tax would be somewhere around $40K per year (2% of the property value each year). The tax write off would affect his personal income tax and my guess is that was worth tens of millions considering his tax bracket. Even if my guesses are way off, I doubt that he lost money.
