snip~
Easton will have at least one, new state representative following the 2012 state elections if the proposed new legislative districts are approved.

In the new maps, released Tuesday, Oct. 18, by the special joint committee on redistricting, Easton will be split between two representative’s districts.

Easton currently is divided among three districts represented by state Reps. Geraldine Creedon, D-Brockton, Christine Canavan, D-Brockton and Angelo D’Emilia, R-Bridgewater.
