The long range Euro Model has it in the Gulf of Maine as a strong *very fast moving* CAT 1 hurricane (max winds 94 mph) making landfall near Eastport Sat night / Sun morning (Sept 8).

Eastport low tide Sat. night is at 12:22 AM and the next high tide is at 7:07 AM Sunday morning - fortunately, its a neap tide

This is expected to be a very fast moving storm with little time to react to changes in track or time of landfall (high or low tide).

The Bay of Fundy is a funnel, with the world's highest tides - how this might influence any potential storm surge is ???????.

Hope I'm wrong, but right now I'm a bit spooked by this...
