Such an over-used empty phrase.

Which got me to wondering....can you imagine this hypothetical family's reaction when Dad actually shows up for a full 24 hours? The family which got used to him being gone most of the time, and paying the bills?
The family which developed their own interests and life when he was absent so many times?
Mom might have to post a pic of him on the fridge for the kids to get used to before he shows up at the door minus that job.

Or, mom might welcome him with a divorce, if other women were involved.
