These opponents are profoundly ignorant. Maybe they've never heard of Lysenkoism, the ideological corruption of biology under Stalin which held back the Soviets in medicine for decades.

Of course, that's precisely what these idiots want to do to biology in this country. So, of course they'll compare real science standards to Soviet style communism. Hypocrites!
