Moving back up on teabagger enemy lists [View all]

Yeah it's that time again to remind the local teabaggers that I need to be moved back up on their enemy lists. My latest letter has been published.

Are Dubuque city streets perfect? No. Some of them would benefit from work and I hope the city would look at fixing them as time and money permit. Of course the city could authorize the complete reconstruction tomorrow of any street in Dubuque and there would be complaints about the city wasting money.

And if the city said it wasn’t going to rebuild a road or delay the rebuilding you’d have these same people complaining that the city was sitting on its hinder. The city could have chosen to leave the intersection of Grandview Avenue/Delhi Street/etc.. as is and the same people complaining about the new roundabout would be complaining about a lack of action on the part of the city.

No matter what the city does it’s never right for some people in our community. City leaders could walk on water and there would be complaints that they can’t swim.

There are some things that I wish the city would do differently too, but this endless complaining is getting old.
