Doctors are still respected by most of their patients, including conservatives. If doctors (especially doctors in red states or rural areas) explain the realities of this mess in plain English, I think a lot of people would see the other side of it. And it might just get them to vote against the repukes.

Also, doctors are voters. I think even conservative ones might be tempted to go the other way.

And the AMA is huge. Maybe they can do some serious lobbying if they aren't already.
