2. I'm on the fence. I'd like to keep the box for violent crimes

In actuality, if a college candidate is otherwise qualified, Admissions or Student Affairs will give the candidate a chance to explain the issue.

A student like Abigail Cook would probably get in most GA public colleges if she was contrite and showed that she learned her lesson.

But if its all or nothing, then ban the box.
