Sept is really hot and when I was teaching there was no A/C. I even put my own in the classroom but it didn't make any difference (room was too big). I taught at year round schools and didn't get out until July 21st. I taught my first graders how to read a thermometer (usually it was over 90). The fans just blew their papers all over the room. Usually I would walk around the room and mist them with water all afternoon. You can NOT learn or teach when it is that hot. I left 6 years ago when I got sick and since then they have finally installed A/C.
