4. Friend of mine had Vibrio.

He had nicked his shin while weed whacking, then days later went wade fishing in Rockport, TX. His waders got filled with water, and his shin started feeling funky, then became very painful. He pulled the waders off and the area around his wound was inflamed. He knew right away he needed treatment. His friends got him to a special Vibrio unit close by and he went through months of hell. Nearly died.
