According to the Newark Post (which is free but behind a password wall):

Christina School District voters elected Doug Manley and Y.F. Lou to the school board Tuesday in an election marked by partisan polarization rarely seen in local school races.

Manley defeated Christine Gilbert, 65 percent to 35 percent. Lou defeated Yong “Luke” Peng, 68 percent to 32 percent.

They each earned a four-year term and will replace Fred Polaski, who has served 12 years on the board, and board president Keeley Powell, who has served five years. Both incumbents chose not to seek re-election.

Turnout was just 3 percent, but the 3,600 votes cast was the most in at least 15 years and approximately triple the usual turnout in a Christina School Board race.
