Just a couple years after the offshore drilling platform was installed and has been a polluted, forgotten mess ever since. The images of the nasty beaches with oil film at the shore, dead fish look very familiar to me.
American (pretentiousness) exceptionalism takes it's toll. "Spreading Democracy" wouldn't be so loathed if it weren't for for such egregious environmental and social strata toll awry.
