It was on my way home from school and I remember their band name -- Fritz. Never saw them, though, either then or with FM. Damn. I did see Bob Welch a couple of times. And the first time I saw FM, it was with Jeremy Spencer at the Fillmore. He did his Elvis impersonation at 2 a.m.
