I'd gotten about three hours sleep, and by the time I finished the drawing I'd been up for about twenty-two hours. My exhaustion shows! But I'm happy with it: it's real life, not pr.
You can see the construction lines I used for the initial proportions: the rectangle with diagonals from corner to corner, a circle. It's a method I'd just learned and it did help with my proportions.
