17. YOLO - means whatever you want it to mean

I hear YOLO (You Only Live Once) used to convey that same sentiment, but also to convey the exact opposite. I've even heard the term explained by the same person to cover both uses. For instance, "be careful, you only live once" followed by "come on, take a chance, you only live once".

I prefer the risk taking path, but try and temper that enough to hopefully get further opportunities to find some thrills. I do want to skid in sideways, I just don't want to crash before I can get into that skid!
