5. I hear you. I'm single with no children and feel

Like my invitations to family gatherings are just rote. I would seek help if it's a big problem for you. It's been that way for me since my mom died 9 years ago. The holidays mean nothing to me. BTW, I love your username. We're close in age (will be 70 in the spring). Of course I'm happy that life is good and interesting for my niece and nephews and their kids , so I'll leave it at that. Hope everything gets better for you.
