Is it me or does there seem to be an inordinate number of video game ads. [View all]

Candy Crush, et al. Mindless games, (though, I admit, there was a time where I played Wordscape on a daily basis)
Mostly for stupid, mindless games. Why is that? Shouldn't we deserve ads that are 1/2 way intelligent and deliver important choices, in our life? Also, how do these games generate revenue to create all of these stupid ads I have to watch?
