Of British Instigation? did Brits twice before 1982 land in Argentina claiming it? Argentines did in September 1964 and again in September 1966 when a DC-4 filled with armed members of "Movimiento Nueva Argeniana" aka "El Condor" landed at Stanley and took some Royal Marine Commandos hostage for a few hours. The Argentine hijackers were amazed to find out non one wanted them to liberate the population.
