The British weren't alone in being pirates and enslaving the natives by a long shot, and Spain had a bigger fleet at the time. At one point Spain tried to invade Britain.

The Basic fact is the Islanders are British Citizens, refuse to leave their homes and land, & it isnt a colony wishing to be Liberated by the benevolent bolivarian revolution or Argentina. Argentina has even refused to even take their dead soldiers back from 1982 they didnt even care enough to fund a cemetary for them, the british had to do that. Argentina will not even cooperate on removing the Land Mines they planted in 1982.

Argentina tries to retake the Falklands again, all that will be accomplished is a Bigger Argentine cemetary at Goose Green.
