As British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain infamously declared in 1938 after signing the Munich Agreement with one A. Hitler - der Führer und Reichskanzler of Germany after the European Powers (with Czechoslovakia EXCLUDED from the discussions - gosh, that sounds familiar?) essentially gave Czechoslovakia to Germany after agreeing to a new, indefensible border with Germany
