Monday

was a huge issue in Iraq, where good-sized populations of both reside, with Iran influencing the Shia in Iraq (who are the majority), but with the Sunnis (under Saddam) running the government. They currently have an uneasy (religious) power-sharing agreement for the top government officials and head of their Parliament.
