what was John Kerry's tireless and probably near-million mile level of shuttle diplomacy, to finally obtain and enact a nuclear agreement with Iran under Obama. Then that was all scuttled. 
Since 45 is owned by Putin, there will possibly be some wild gyrations that go on with this.
What might be an interesting side-issue is Saudi's recent outreach to Iran, reestablishing a modicum of relations. And although they are on opposite sides of some of situations - like what is going on in Syria & Yemen - the elephant in the room is Israel, and there is a potential for a powder keg to be lit. And the idea of "making Gaza into a U.S. resort" is just pouring gasoline on the problem.
