They'd just get replaced by young, totally maga justices that would increase the length of time the court would be in radical right-wing hands.
If Trump fucks up enough for the Democrats to retake the Senate in the 2026 election, then they could deny their replacement until after the 2028 election. That seems to be our only hope of regaining the Supreme Court before 2050.
