My son died in 2002 from Ewing’s sarcoma. It is diagnosed infrequently enough that not a lot of research is done on it. Money goes, as I guess it should, to diseases that affect more people. Research dollars are spent more effectively when results benefit more patients. But, as a parent who never gets to close the door on grief, any research on any childhood cancer is worth my tax dollars every day of the week. These billionaires can pound sand.
