Neil Cavuto, a longtime Fox News anchor who joined when it launched in 1996, is exiting the cable news network.
Cavutos contract with Fox News was due to expire at the end of 2024; the network offered him a new deal and he declined, a source familiar with the situation said. His departure comes as TV news orgs across the board continue to try to rationalize costs for high-priced talent. Cavuto has overseen business news content for both Fox News and Fox Business Network and led special events coverage for FBN.
