The handwriting is certainly on the wall: Fire civil servants for doing the jobs they were hired to do and replace them with political ideologues, while transforming the presidency into a virtual king who rules by decree, enjoying absolute impunity for any wrongful deeds committed. Under this system, the level of corruption, not to mention sanctioned persecution of perceived political adversaries, would be breathtaking.
