Fortunately the TS has been a faster mover so it was not crawling along dumping tons of rain along the northern Midatlantic and Northeast states. It's currently up the coast just south of CT and RI and churning along at 31 mph. I did see when the Tornado Warning went up - the cell spun into land off the coast. Not sure if there was an actual reported tornado but it was a radar-indicated possibility and that prompted the Warning.

Happy Friday! Elsa is departing the area, and all Tropical Storm Warnings have been cancelled. Skies will be clearing this morning, but additional showers/storms are possible later today. If you had any storm related damage overnight, please let us know! #NJwx #PAwx #DEwx #MDwx
