I find the whole process convoluted. To what extent is dysphoria caused by confinement? Psychiatrists have been granted the legal power and duty to interpret minds for the courts and therefore for the state and the people. The governor doesn't accept that, or at least doesn't want taxpayers to pay for it. Maybe I'm just skeptical of star power lawyers and star power expert witnesses like psychiatrists. The experts and the tests they run are not infallible. Labs when used have been known to make mistakes, and to have less than dedicated personnel at times.
