6. Probably. But since he has a democrat's name, and was voted as the alternative to Palin

It may be reasonable to suggest that there may be at least close to enough votes to put the Democrat over. Palin may also be a limited second choice candidate, as well. If enough people didn't choose a second choice, that too will help the Democrat.
