4. Yes. In today's dollars, it would be worth probably 1000s of times what it was then.

The oil alone on the north slope is probably worth alone that. In any event, I'd never would want to sell Alaska. Got family up there, and have running correspondence w/ one of them who worked as an agent at large in Alaska for the New York Times. Neat. I still have all of her pics, letters, etc.
