(394 posts)but only if:
1. It remains available for reference, even if only as a 'Read Only' directory
2. Another forum can be created called 2018/2020 Election Strategy ( or something like that)
The 2016 Postmortem served a great purpose in the beginning because we could all go through the stages of grief and divest ourselves of the initial rage and despair together. But as time passed, the rage and complaining about the same things over and over has gotten so toxic that it is getting in the way of any productive outcome that would inspire us to move forward into the strategic planning for a better future for the Dem party and the country as a whole.
And while I can understand the anger and frustration that we all share, people were starting to be mean and abusive to each other, and that's not right. In fact, if we don't stop it, then we're doing exactly what the Repubs and their Russian cabal WANT us to do!
Right now we are overwhelmed by the huge tasks at hand, but if we put our heads together and identify and accept what we can change and what we can't, we can plan a strategy from the bottom up, define our resource needs, and get this grassroots revolution started!
And let's make a promise to be kind to each other, ok?
