Just consumer activism forcing the public discussion to be more civil. As it should be.

The first step toward driving consensus and compromise. Political polarization is not a good place to be no matter what side of the isle you are on. After the GOP gets destroyed a few times, backlash will induce a cultural move toward civil, fact based political discussion. It won't take long for the GOP to learn that they must reinvent themselves and it must start by tossing their uneducated "spokesmen" on to the scrap heap. FOX will eventually be faced with a dilemna...adapt to the new reinvented party or die. Consumer activism has started the ball rolling in the right direction. We are not far away from seeing moderate Republican legislators again.

Consumer activism is proving to be a powerful tool when combating the plutocracy. Their over reaching days may be numbered. They may be forced to compromise. Considering their power, we must understand that every small gain is victory. You can't change 30 years of damage within one Presidential term.
