1. Cuellar a near total Dem record? Are you kidding me?

He has long been the worst Democrat in Congress. During the 115th Congress, Cuellar voted with then-President Trump nearly 70% of the time. He has an "A" rating from the NRA and has voted with Republicans on anti-abortion measures. He frequently opposed Biden administration border policies and has worked on border bills with Republicans like Senator John Cornyn. He has been described as "Big Oil's favorite Democrat" and has the worst environmental voting record of any Democrat in Congress.

Representative Cuellar easily makes it into in the top 5 worst Democrats in Congress and has received the well-earned nickname of "Trump's Favorite Democrat". However, unlike other atrocious Dems he does not even have the excuse of coming from a Red or Purple District. Obama and Clinton both won his district by more than 20%, yet Cuellar has voted multiple times to repeal the Affordable Care Act and favors anti-choice legislation.

There is almost no mainstream Democratic issue that Cuellar is not willing to throw under the bus. He supports privatizing the VA, cutting the minimum wage for agricultural workers, and is in love with policies that increase carbon emissions. With a conservative record like this, Cuellar has received the highest rating of any Democrat by the Chamber of Commerce, and has the Koch Brothers' campaign donations to prove it.

Cuellar just barely squeaked out a win over a progressive challenger in 2020, after millions of dollars flooded into his district to prop up the tottering incumbent. He will most certainly be given another run for his money next time around, and even mainstream Democrats should be fired up about the prospect of beating this guy.

If you seek to do further damage to your eyes reading about a career filled with terrible votes and political corruption, then check out Primaries for Progresses' full exposé on Henry Cuellar.

And on top of voting with Republicns more than he's voted with Democrats, he's a corrupt piece of shit (just like you'd expect from a Republican). That is a solid Democratic district that deserves areal Democrat, not a Republican pretending to be a Democrat. Hopefully his indictment for Bribery and money laundering will finally smarten up the voters in his district and they'll finally kick him out on his ass.
