2. They won't overturn birthright citizenship

To rule that a constitutional right is subject to the whims of the president would mean that all constitutional rights are subject to the whims of any president.

That would mean that the Supreme Court is completely powerless, and irrelevant.

It would mean that the next president could revoke the citizenship of the conservatives on the court and have them deported.

That is why they won’t overturn a constitutional right.
