both parties have supported incentives for research and development in tax law.

I can't say what's right or wrong, but the fight over destructibility of accelerated depreciation, research costs, etc., has been going on since at least the 1960s. And Democrats have supported these too, especially when the economy is teetering.

Christ, the photos of trump prancing around cracks me up.
