4. Update on story #2

The check to pay the balance on the credit card cleared yesterday, despite the stop payment. I found the stop payment fee applied to a different checking account, on which my name appears, but is only used by one of my sons. Unbelievable.

Story # 3. This morning I have a DM from the neighbor. Turns out she's a total Karen. According to her I have no appreciation for caring neighbors. There's no need for me to suggest her husband could have checked the facts with me before posting the beware the person in a hoodie driving a van story, and she's going to sue me if I ever say anything about her or her husband again. OMG. This is the first time I've personally had an encounter with a Karen. What a piece of work.
