13. The Compliance Conundrum
Thu Nov 27, 2025, 01:04 PM
Nov 27

There once was a senator—Wyden—
Who said Treasury’s files were lyin’ in
A vault locked up tight,
With Bessent saying “No—quite
A lot more than I care to confide in.”

Wyden shouted, “Now here’s what I’ve found:
Epstein’s cash flowed unbound underground.
The bank kept it hush—
Not a bureaucrat’s blush—
’Cause his business was simply too sound.”

J.P. Morgan, said Wyden, did stash
Epstein snug in a “Wall of Cash.”
They saw red flags wave,
Yet they’d quietly behave—
For a client whose wealth couldn’t crash.

Suspicious reports trickled slow—
Just millions while Epstein lay low.
But the moment he died,
That dam broke wide—
And a billion-and-change came in tow.

A compliance employee once wrote,
“Cash for jet fuel?”—a dubious note.
But they let it proceed,
Though the flags all agreed
This was not how one fuels up a boat.

Now subpoenas are starting to rain;
Both committees are turning the chain.
“Hand the documents here—
Every transfer made clear—
Till the money map fully explains.”

Wyden charted the transfers, in line,
That went Maxwell’s way through the pipeline.
Not a side-plot or whim—
But part of the dim
Financial machinery’s design.

So the message from Wyden rings sunny:
“Don’t get lost in the spin or the funny.
Ignore all the noise,
The distractions, the ploys—
If you want the truth: follow the money.”

I think a number of the big names in the "files" have to do with potential financial misconduct as opposed to sexual ToxMarz Nov 27 #9
That's very likely. But where did the money come from in the first place? Ocelot II Nov 27 #10
Epstein didn't get his start in sex trafficking, he has had a long "illustrious" life of fraud ToxMarz Nov 27 #14
Epstein cultivated wealthy people and held himself out as a financial advisor. Ocelot II Nov 27 #22
