REALLY should not be high on the list right now for most of us. (Exceptions for people with families there, of course.)

It is horrible what is happening there, but it won't help ANYONE in the Middle East for the reich-wing to continue to consolidate power in the United States. Okay, possibly "anyone but the richest f*ckers profiting off suffering" - but the profiteering from suffering isn't contained to the ME.
