15. This post brought something to mind that helps me understand a bit.

Well, not really, but it helps me imagine what it might be like for TSF loyalists right about now. Have you ever met or heard of someone who learned their spouse was a sexual predator? Their first reaction might be complete denial and certainly shock, leaving them grasping for any rationalization they can find to help them live with the reality, to avoid the destruction of their entire understanding of the world and their reality as they knew it before they learned the horrible truth.

I think that's what it must be like for the 37% who just can't let him go. Some of them are beginning to see the truth that they so desperately want to avoid, but the evidence is mounting and soon they will not be able to turn away from the truth. I can't imagine what their response will be. Will some of them lose it completely and wreak havoc on their communities? Will some fall into a helpless despair? I would never want to be in their shoes, but especially not now when their worlds are crumbling.
