And it isn’t a “country music contest” either- it’s all genres.

Some great voices have come out of that show. Fantasia Barinno, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Iam Tongi, Daughtry, and yes Carrie Underwood. These folks have real chops and have pumped out some pretty amazing hits.
