Nothing is stopping anyone from getting their vaccinations. People are choosing not to, and that's a mistake.

Me? As soon as one is available, I'm up at my favorite pharmacy getting stabbed by the nice lady who does the injections there. She recognizes me, and knows that I like joking about vaccinations. She keeps me up to date on how people are behaving about them. I'm a chatty, friendly, supportive patient, so people tend to trust me enough to share more information than they normally would.

The problem is individuals who are ignoring the need for those vaccinations.

If I didn't know better, I'd think the right is trying to discourage people from protecting themselves, which might just lower the population a bit. If that's their long-range goal, they may well succeed.
