6. Watching Joy Reid look truly happy during the Democratic convention, and the feeling of shared joy

I felt that same joy to see that convention, but Joy Reid knows a lot, has experienced a lot — and it was like watching her drop her guard and feel genuinely happy for 5 minutes . They let us enjoy enthusiasm, the selection of speakers, the joyful attitudes without the dour wet blanket feelings of skewed-skeptical cnn or lying FOX.
