I think it should be done automatically after all elections except for perhaps minor, local elections.

If it proves everything was on the up and up fine, at least you tried to do everything possible and you found out. I haven’t completely trusted the election system for gathering and counting votes since 2016 and I always take a photograph of my ballot now before I put it in the machine. Someone tried to tell me that is illegal at our polling place.

I realize that Harris is the only one that could request this apparently for the presidential election, and I realize that it’s most probably never going to happen.

I’m not going stop saying what I think about all of this. I believe there are valid reasons to be suspicious. Look at who your opponent is, look at what he has already done and look at what he was telling his voters prior to the elections. Other past elections have been tampered and there is always some form of tampering, whether voter suppression or otherwise, usually not enough to change the outcome.
