Companies are now producing goods and services for the military, so it makes the economy look good.

But Putin is paying them out of Russia's reserves which is not sustainable in the long run.
And his oil revenue is way down due to sanctions and Ukraine drone attacks.

This is why he was desperate to install Trump into the WH.
Russia was hemorrhaging money and Putin could lose his power.
