went to kiss trump's ass, although that alone is repulsive. It's their attempt at defending it to their viewers that was so very despicable. They actually posited the possibility that since this is his last term (you know, because of the 22nd amendment) perhaps he won't feel the need to implement all the fascist policies that he's put forth or continue the threatening declarations against immigrants, women and - oh yeah - journalists. Perhaps he'll be a uniting force. Yes, they really said that.

That was just part of their apologia. There was more and it was absolutely disgusting, They are complicit.
