6. They're saving their butts.

What would matter most to them and most of the mainstream punditry class? Name recognition and access to the national camera and best parties, or Journalistic Integrity?
Neither are really experianced journalists to begin with. She was closest, being an English Major (nothing wrong with that, just means she should know better).
