(38,280 posts)20. Just because I share a few genes with someone does not mean I share their morals or ethics.
Family get breaks that others do not because we know each other better and have each seen the best and worst of each other. But when a family member supports tsf and argues that they are completely in the right to do so, they get no special allowance for ignorance or stupidity.
I'd rather prune the family tree, no matter how heavily, than even hint at the possibility of giving these peoples' views any degree of legitimacy.
