Showing Original Post only (View all)I fully expect to be dead within a year thanks to Trump [View all]
I'm 57 years on disability due to a horrible accident and I'm also a type 1 diabetic. I also depend on Medicaid for my medication and insulin, which if I had to pay for would cost close to $10k a month. I barely make ends meet now. I have no doubt Trump is going to eliminate both SSDI and Medicaid and there is no way I can work. As we all know, when dictatorships happen the most vulnerable are at the ones to suffer the most. I'm actually ok with death, my 2 year old Australian Shephard though is by my side 24/7, I fear for him the most.

I certainly hope not. Can you look into any replacement assistance your state may have?

I get your concern. For what it's worth, I worked for a state Medicaid agency in the mid-1970s.

Republicans also make a lot of money off the 100+ million covered by these programs.
