I'm just wondering if you're new to DU (based on your post count)? Mine is as low as it is because I had computer crashes and have had to change my user name three times. I've been a member of DU since the very beginning (2001).

I guess the reason I ask is because you've stated "DU can be remarkably inconsistent in these issues." I haven't been involved in this particular discussion so I'm not really sure what all has taken place. You then state, "We are all for kids and supporting women in cases of incest and rape … as long as they are the correct political flavor."

Also, you're handle is NCIndie. Does that mean you're an Independent and not a Democrat? I don't at all mean to stir any kind of a pot....I'm just curious and am confused by your post....
