9. When Trump is indicted, he will do what he does best

and play the victim card masterfully. He will call upon his followers to "stand up for justice" and exonerate him by electing him as their retribution.

With red states prepared to carry out whatever shenanigans are necessary to guarantee a Republican win, Trump might succeed in winning the general election. But even if he does not win it, he will attempt to seize office through violence that will dwarf J6. He might resort to that violence before election day to intimidate anyone who likely would not vote for him.

Trump and his accomplices and followers are so entrenched and fanatically dedicated that I don't see any way out of their grip that does not involve violence. I am not advocating violence. I am concerned though that since the fascist movement is so strong and fanatically determined to advance their "cause" through violence and intimidation, they will initiate it in a way that makes it necessary for us to defend ourselves. They WANT internal war and violence against all who disagree with them. Even if they got control of all of the branches of government without violence, once in power, they would carry it out against all of their "enemies."
